Perspective as a love story

Brownie Bites 6.07.24

Dear Reader, Happy Friday. Today's newsletter is about perspective.

Sometimes we require a different perspective to gain a sense of focus.

I just returned from traveling, where I spent time looking at San Francisco from a different view.

Seeing the city from this perspective shifted my views on the bay, my sense of belonging, and the realization for the past 20+ years, it was actually never about the city.

It was always about adventures with people I love.

Brownie Bites Takeaway on Why Perspective Matters

Be compassionate

When we see things from another's perspective, we can shift our views to be more compassionate.

Spark creativity

A different view sparks different views. Whether city streets, a winery, or a beautiful trail we can focus, problem-solve, and dream big when we change the perspective.

Fall in love with life

What if you saw your life as a love story? Do you love the main character (you?). Who do you choose to love?

Did you know "outdoor exercise increases neuronal activity in brain regions related to creativity?" I recently read a study which links something many of us know intuitively. Our best ideas rarely come from a small room with fluorescent lights.

I'd argue that the mere action of adventuring is what spawns the greatest ideas.

When I was traveling, I hiked in the East Bay, meandered around beautiful gardens, and found myself in a wine cellar on a gorgeous winery estate in Saint Helena, CA.

I returned back to Boston completely renewed, with optimized ideas on how to move forward with my business and life.

When's the last time you carved out the time to adventure? Or even just wander outdoors and find a quiet spot to think and dream? I encourage you to take the time to adventure, and experience new perspectives.

I'll see you in two weeks!

Yours in wellness,

Julie
